Every time we consider the Hindi film industry also referred to as Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan, also referred to as King Khan and Badshah of Bollywood is likely the first actor that comes to mind. Since Shah Rukh is an outsider in the Hindi film industry, he lacks a godfather to help him and give him a boost. He had to start everything from scratch and by himself, which is why he serves as an example for all aspiring actors.

Shah Rukh was born on 2nd November 1965 in New Delhi. His father Taj Mohammed Khan was an Indian Independence activist, and his mother Fatima was a Magistrate. He attended St. Columba’s School in Delhi. He used to play hockey and was an energetic young man who loved sports. Shah Rukh used to watch all the plays that our nation’s actors performed because his father used to work in the National School of Drama’s (NSD) mess.

During this time in 1881, Shah Rukh was about fifteen years old when his father died of throat cancer. Shah Rukh and his family went through a lot after his father died, they were traumatized for about 4-5 years. His mother used to work extremely hard to pay their school fees.

After his schooling, he did bachelor’s degree in economics from Hansraj College of Delhi University from the year 1985 till 1988. Shah Rukh learned acting in the Delhi’s Theatre Action Group (TAG) under the mentorship of theatre director Barry John. Then he began studying for his master’s degree in mass communication at Jamia Millia Islamia, but he left it to pursue his acting career. On 25 October 1991, he married Gauri Chibber, a Punjabi Hindu, in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony. The couple has three children Aryan Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abram Khan.

He landed his first starring role in the television series Dil Dariya because of his efforts. After seeing his performance on television, a few film directors cast him in a film. His breakthrough movie “Deewana” in the year 1992 marked the turning point in his acting career. He gained recognition and popularity during the 1990s with a series of successful films. Notable movies during this period include “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” in the year 1995, which became a blockbuster and established Shah Rukh as a romantic hero. Other significant films include “Dil Toh Pagal Hai” in the year (1997), “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai” in the year 1998, and “Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham” in the year 2001. Shah Rukh Khan has received numerous awards for his contribution to the Indian film industry. He won Filmfare Awards and National Film Awards for his mesmerizing performance.

Shah Rukh Khan’s net worth is estimated to be between $600 and $750 million USD. Shah Rukh Khan is not only a talented actor, but also a successful businessman. He is a co-owner of the IPL’s Kolkata Knight Riders. He also has a film production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, which produces and distributes films.

Shah Rukh’s upcoming movies include Jawan, Tiger 3, Dunki, The Great Indian Rescue and many more.
