Shah Rukh Khan always steals the spotlight when he goes to watch an Indian Premiere League (IPL) match. He was at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens stadium to support his team, the Kolkata Knight Riders. But now, people are sharing online a nice thing he did after the match.
SRK’s sweet gesture
A fan recorded a video of Shah Rukh Khan picking up KKR flags from the seats and floor in the VIP section. He collected some and gave them to his bodyguard. Fans cheered his name, asking for a wave. After cleaning up, Shah Rukh turned and blew a kiss to his fans.
Shah Rukh Khan really cares about KKR. He picks up flags after the game alone. He’s such a humble guy, it’s hard to believe.
After the game, Shah Rukh met some players and fans on the cricket field. He was wearing a purple KKR T-shirt and black pants, with his hair tied up messily.
Kolkata Knight Riders won by eight wickets against Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday. KKR is currently in second place, having won four out of five matches, giving them eight points. Lucknow Super Giants are in fifth place with three wins and three losses, totaling six points.
Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan and his little son AbRam went to the game too. Suhana’s best friend Ananya Panday was there with them. They all posted photos and videos from the game on social media.
Back in April, when KKR beat Delhi Capitals in Visakhapatnam, Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) went to the stadium to personally congratulate the players. He even gave Rishabh Pant a kiss on the head and hugged other cricketers.
The IPL shared a video of Shah Rukh meeting the teams after the match. In the video, Shah Rukh is seen clapping for Kuldeep Yadav, Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, and other players after the KKR vs DC match in Visakhapatnam.
SRK supported the boys at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. His manager, Pooja Dadlani, was there too for the match between KKR and DC.
Shah Rukh was recently in Dunki, which came out in December 2023. He hasn’t said what he’s doing next, but there’s talk he might work with his daughter Suhana Khan on a movie called King.
