Nothing Phone 2a Introduces India-Exclusive Blue Color Variant: Pricing and Availability

Nothing has announced the launch of the Nothing Phone 2a in a new color option exclusively for India. This fresh Blue edition comes nearly a month after the initial handset release and offers consumers a unique choice. The Nothing Phone 2a is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC and boasts a full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Equipped with a dual rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary camera, and featuring a redesigned Glyph Interface, it also houses a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.

Pricing and Availability

The Nothing Phone 2a now debuts in a captivating Blue hue, specifically crafted for the Indian market. Initially available in limited Black and White finishes upon its March launch, this new color variant will be up for grabs exclusively on Flipkart starting May 2 at 12pm IST, priced at a special rate of Rs. 19,999. Following the initial sale, the Blue edition is expected to maintain the same pricing as other color options in India. Therefore, the base model with 8GB RAM + 128GB storage will retail for Rs. 23,999, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations will be available at Rs. 25,999 and Rs. 27,999, respectively.

Specifications

Besides the color, the design and specifications of the new Blue variant remain consistent with the original model. It runs on the Nothing OS 2.5.5 based on Android 14 and sports a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with adaptive refresh rates ranging from 30Hz to 120Hz, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Under the hood, it houses an octa-core 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC paired with up to 12GB of RAM. The Nothing Phone 2a boasts dual 50-megapixel sensors at the rear and a 32-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.

Additionally, it offers up to 256GB of onboard storage and features an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is equipped with dual stereo speakers and boasts an IP54-rated dust and water-resistant construction.

In terms of battery life, Nothing has incorporated a robust 5,000mAh battery in the Phone 2a, complemented by 45W fast charging support. Furthermore, users can personalize the lighting effects for notifications using the redesigned Glyph Interface located at the back of the device.
