There was a young boy named Ashish, he lived in a big city in the capital of the country Delhi. He studied in a big school named Bal Bharti Public School. He was in class 8. He was a studious child.
Ashish’s father Sachin was a government employee, he was a clerk in Delhi district court. He used to earn well, to sustain his family. He used to work hard for his family. He wanted Ashish to study well and succeed in his career.
Ashish was an obese child, he used to eat a lot. He used to be hungry all the time. He used to eat junk food a lot. He used to eat burgers, Pizza, Pasta, and Maggie a lot all the time. He had a really bad schedule, he used to eat at any time he wanted.
He used to eat junk food for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well. His best friend was Swiggy and Zomato. He used to order everything online and eat whatever he wanted.
His weight was around 90 kg in class 8, all his classmates were around 50 kg. he was the fattest among all the boys.
Ashish’s parents were very upset because of his eating habits, they used to tell him to stop eating unhealthy food, but he never used to listen to them. He used to go outside and eat junk food when his parents would stop him from eating junk food.
One day, Ashish got up from bed, he was suffering from a headache and stomach ache. He was feeling very low. He immediately told his mother, Roopa, and his mother checked his fever. He was burning, his body told temperature was 102 degrees.
Roopa called Sachin, and she told him everything. He was shocked but he knew that this was happening because of his eating habits of Ashish. Sachin came back from the office by giving a leave application.
Both took Ashish to the hospital. Ashish was feeling very sad, as he was suffering from a heavy stomach ache. He couldn’t even stand properly for his checkup.The doctor told them that he was suffering from both Typhoid and Jaundice at the same time.
Sachin and Roopa were devastated, but Ashish was extremely sad as he was in this difficult situation because of himself. The doctor told his parents that he would be admitted to the hospital for a few days so that he could recover.
He used to be on drips, he used to cry all the time for the mistakes that he made in the past, by eating junk food all the time. His parents stood by him the whole time, they supported him, and they used to make him laugh all the time in the hospital so that he could feel better. Sachin used to tell him that eating junk food all the time is bad for our health and it makes us obese.
Ashish realized his mistake, he recovered in a few days, and he went to his home. He started living a healthy lifestyle. He used to go for running in the morning. He used to eat green leafy vegetables, he used to do exercises, and drink three to four liters of water every day.
All this made him a better person and he felt very active and energetic. He lost 20 kg of weight gradually and became a happy soul due to the teachings given by his father regarding healthy food.
Moral of the story: Eating healthy food is very important for children, it sharpens their memory and makes them active and energetic.
